Indoor gardening dehumidifier

"Designing by nature, for nature. From seed to harvest, from planting tools to farmbots." In this project, we were tasked with creating a bionic-inspired product for gardening. Bionics allowed us to draw from nature's functionality or aesthetics. My design is a dehumidifier that not only keeps the home free from mold but also repurposes the condensed water for irrigation. Inspired by the form of a jellyfish, this dehumidifier is both visually appealing and sustainable. Moist air is drawn through various components by a fan, and the condensed water is collected through a funnel for reuse in planting. This project exemplifies the seamless integration of design, function, and sustainability.
